Whispered worries are confirmed; the marking of a new, darker era reveals itself in the form of disappearances - still too few and far-between for anyone to be certain, but the signs are there. Fear slowly builds in the wizarding community, but only time can tell exactly how dangerous this threat will be.
With the increased presence of the self-proclaimed ‘Lord Voldemort’ and his followers, there seems to be an electric tension in the air that is impossible to ignore, and there are those out there who already plan to stop him. The Order of the Phoenix, a diverse, emergent group formed by Albus Dumbledore, works against the Death Eaters in an attempt to bring light to dark times. Met with only animosity from the Ministry, however, their efforts are slowed.
Out of a world that is swiftly being clouded by a growing darkness, students enter the school which should be like a safe haven from the whispers of war in the distance, but as separations between houses continue to grow and allegiances become more apparent, what was once an innocent rivalry escalates to preemptive hatred and lashing out.
